On Oct. 18th, alumni, staff, friends, and community members will celebrate Centennial ICS Alumni Homecoming, marking the institute's centennial year.

Through their creative efforts to improve education, this year’s six alumni winners – Justin Patrick, Maria Rogers, Shijing Xu, John Dias, Cindy Sinclair and Erin Finley – have been recognized for their excellence and leadership in teaching, research and advocacy.

OISE welcomes five new faculty of talented researchers, educators and colleagues including Dr. Brendan Andrade, Dr. Lydia Cao, Angela Easby, Dr. Lore/tta LeMaster, and Dr. Vidya Shah.

Dr. Linda Iwenofu, a clinical child psychologist and assistant professor in applied psychology and human development, shares why recognizing perseverance, growth and character in school awards can help all students feel seen and supported.

Nanyu Luo is a doctoral student in the Department of Applied Psychology & Human Development.

The Leithwood Award is presented to one recipient annually in recognition of exceptional, cutting-edge research.
