'Rainbow on Mars' is a multidisciplinary work of theatre and ballet that calls on audiences to question the primacy of vision in our world.

Through their creative efforts to improve education, this year’s six alumni winners – Justin Patrick, Maria Rogers, Shijing Xu, John Dias, Cindy Sinclair and Erin Finley – have been recognized for their excellence and leadership in teaching, research and advocacy.

OISE welcomes five new faculty of talented researchers, educators and colleagues including Dr. Brendan Andrade, Dr. Lydia Cao, Angela Easby, Dr. Lore/tta LeMaster, and Dr. Vidya Shah.

The IEN Indigenous Student Celebration and Award Ceremony celebrated graduates and students for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements and community involvement.

Each year, the AERA Annual Meeting brings together scholars worldwide to share the latest in education research. For OISE doctoral students Isabel Núñez and John Pierre Craig, it’s a valuable opportunity to engage with global scholars, receive feedback, and contribute to key discussions in their fields.

This highly attended event Black education symposium sought to discuss historical truths surrounding Black education in Canada – past, present and future.

A collection of poetry published by Professor Emeritus John P. Portelli has been short-listed for a Canadian Book Club Award (CBCA), in the poetry category.
