Suroor Mansouri’s decision to pursue an MEd degree in curriculum and pedagogy was sparked by conversations with professors and alumni – who showed Suroor that OISE is a launchpad to make new and meaningful changes in her field.

Through their creative efforts to improve education, this year’s six alumni winners – Justin Patrick, Maria Rogers, Shijing Xu, John Dias, Cindy Sinclair and Erin Finley – have been recognized for their excellence and leadership in teaching, research and advocacy.

OISE welcomes five new faculty of talented researchers, educators and colleagues including Dr. Brendan Andrade, Dr. Lydia Cao, Angela Easby, Dr. Lore/tta LeMaster, and Dr. Vidya Shah.

The IEN Indigenous Student Celebration and Award Ceremony celebrated graduates and students for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements and community involvement.
