Tanitiã Munroe, a PhD candidate in the Department of Leadership, Higher and Adult Education, leads a research team that trains Black students in youth participatory action research (YPAR).
In July 2023, Rijeka, Croatia, hosted a week-long conference that brought together over 50 international scholars, educators, activists, and practitioners to share insights on preventing sexual and gender-based violence. Led by OISE professor Miglena Todorova and doctoral student Nana Gulic, the event aimed to transcend national borders.
